President back home after participating in Chadian Independence Day celebrations
Asmara, 13 January 2011 – President Isaias Afwerki returned home yesterday after participating in the 50th anniversary of Chadian Independence Day at the invitation of President Idris Debi.
During his stay, the President held talks with Chadian leader and other officials on enhancing bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern to both countries.
It is to be recalled that President Isaias left for Chad on January 10.
