Visit to historical and tourist sites in Anseba region by both nationals and foreigners is becoming popular, stated the head of the Tourism Ministry’s branch office in the region, Mr. Mogos Asgedom.
Keren, 13 January 2011 – Visit to historical and tourist sites in Anseba region by both nationals and foreigners is becoming popular, stated the head of the Tourism Ministry’s branch office in the region, Mr. Mogos Asgedom.

He said that local tourists organized in families and groups frequently visit different parts of the region, in addition to foreigners.

Mr. Mogos explained that continuous campaign and training are being conducted to service-rendering institutions aimed at upgrading their capacity.

Mr. Yacob Ogbe on his part indicated that there exist a number of tourist attracting sites such as ancient monasteries, buildings and historical centers in the region in general and Keren town in particular.
