The Acting head of the Aklalat administrative area, Mr. Idris Mohammed Ali, called on the local inhabitants to make good use of the newly available education, potable water supply and health services in the locality.
Golij, 19 January 2011 – The Acting head of the Aklalat administrative area, Mr. Idris Mohammed Ali, called on the local inhabitants to make good use of the newly available education, potable water supply and health services in the locality.
He explained that educational institutions ranging from kindergarten to junior level have been constructed in the area in a modern way and are providing the required service. The participation of students in education is also showing noticeable growth, he added.
Mr. Idris further indicated that 3 new water distribution stations have been constructed in the area and that the local inhabitants have become beneficiaries of reliable potable water supply. In this respect, he called on the inhabitants to make good use of such facilities.
The inhabitants expressed satisfaction with the expansion of social services at substantial government expenditure that are bringing about visible improvement in their lifestyle. They further explained that the introduction of a 24-hour mobile service and electricity service would facilitate the pace of urbanization in the locality. The inhabitants went on to say that females who were deprived of educational opportunity due to area remoteness would now attend classes thanks to the opening of a junior school.
Aklalat administrative area with a population of over 1,400 families is located 14 kilometers north-west of Golij.
