Maebelie inhabitants express satisfaction with mobile phone service

The inhabitants of Maebelie administrative area, Central Denkalia sub-zone, expressed satisfaction for becoming beneficiaries of mobile phone service and other basis social services.

Maebelie, 21 January 2011 – The inhabitants of Maebelie administrative area, Central Denkalia sub-zone, expressed satisfaction for becoming beneficiaries of mobile phone service and other basis social services.

The Administrator of the area, Mr. Mohammed Habana, told ERINA that previously the inhabitants used to encounter problem to communicate with relatives living in urban areas and those in the Diaspora. The introduction of mobile phone service in the area has now enabled them to easily communicate with their beloved ones, he added.

The local inhabitants commended the Government’s initiatives in introducing mobile phone service. Meanwhile, they explained that the putting in place of grain grinding machine in the locality has relieved them from traveling about 25 kilometers to get such service in Wadie.
