The Chairman of NUEYS, Mr. Sultan Seid, said that the Union would enhance efforts towards strengthening relations with unions of various countries, especially those in the region.
Asmara, 28 January 2011 – The Chairman of NUEYS, Mr. Sultan Seid, said that the Union would enhance efforts towards strengthening relations with unions of various countries, especially those in the region.
He told ERINA that the Union is striving to enhance relations and organizational capacity through exchanging experience with youth students from a number of countries, including Egypt, Norway and others.
Mr. Sultan outlined the significant activities carried out last year in organizing youth employees in urban and semi-urban centers. Also as part of efforts to raise the consciousness and understanding of youths, various vocational and arts training programs have been provided to about 10,000 youths. The training centers already opened even in remote areas have a vital role to play in this regard, he added.
The NUEYS Chairman further explained that a number of conferences have been conducted in all the administrative regions in a bid to strengthen the organizational capacity of the Union.
