Additional Classrooms Being Constructed In Adi-Keih High School

15 additional classrooms are under construction in Adi-Keih Secondary School through Segen Construction Company so as to tackle shortage of classrooms. Adi-Keih, 29 January 2011 – 15 additional classrooms are under construction in Adi-Keih Secondary School through Segen Construction Company so as to tackle shortage of classrooms. The director of the school, Mr. Mebrahtu Tesfom, stressed the need for speeding up the construction process in view of the fact that students are pursuing education in makeshift facility due to the lack of enough classrooms.

He further explained that the problem is negatively affecting the teaching-learning process. The secondary school that provides educational opportunity to about 3,000 students is equipped with 30 classrooms, offices, store and computer lab.

Adi-Keih Secondary School was opened in the 1940s with 6 classrooms and is currently enrolling students from Mie-Mehaza, Kidisti Hana, Hawatsu, Der’a and Hiret.
