African Champion Cyclist Daniel Teklehaimanot has scored a special record in the 4th stage of the Gabon Tour by standing first in the race on Friday, January 28.

Asmara, 30 January 2011 – African Champion Cyclist Daniel Teklehaimanot has scored a special record in the 4th stage of the Gabon Tour by standing first in the race on Friday, January 28.

Moreover, three cyclists from the Eritrean national cyclist team ranked in the first top 10 during the 5th stage of the Tour. Cyclists Daniel Teklehaimanot stood 6th, while Frekalsi Debesay 5th, Dawit Haile 10th, and Natnael Berhane 14th in the race covering 49Km.

The Gabon Tour which is participating 15 national teams and clubs will conclude tomorrow with a 130 Km race in the city of Libreville.
