96 students graduate from Barentu School of Associate Nursing

Barentu school of Associate Nursing graduated 96 students at certificate level on January 29 as part of endeavors to enhance human resource capacity.
Barentu, 3 February 2011 – Barentu school of Associate Nursing graduated 96 students at certificate level on January 29 as part of endeavors to enhance human resource capacity.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the director of the school, Mr. Bereket Goitom, said that the school commenced work with limited number of teachers and students. However, it’s presently making due contribution in nurturing skilled youths in the domain of health through the Government’s substantial investment.

The Coordinator of the Schools of Associate Nursing, Sister Kudusan Abraha, stated on her part that the graduates bear great responsibility in discharging their duty diligently at the workplace.

Likewise, the director general of research and human resource development in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Andom Ogbamariam, pointed out that the Barentu School of Associate Nursing is playing vital role in tackling shortage of skilled manpower in the health sector.
