Exemplary farmer in Ginda sub-zone reveals hard work and commitment as his secret for success

Ginda, 6 February 2011 – Ambition, initiative and hard work are the main secrets for success said an exemplary farmer in Dongolo administrative area, Ginda sub-zone, Mr. Mohammed Romodan who has been engaged in cultivating orange trees for 20 years.

Mr. Mohammed has supplied his products to Asmara and other towns through cultivating over 10 hectares around the mountainous area known as ‘Ahwat’. He said that he is planning to expand his farmland encouraged by the achievement he has attained.

Pointing out that he has cleared a 16Kms road from La’lay Donglo to his farmland which enabled him to transport his products without difficulty, Mr. Mohammed said that he has 18 permanent employees and creates work opportunities for more than 50 nationals.
