Gogne, 17 February 2011 – The putting in place of various agricultural infrastructure facilities in different villages and administrative areas of Gogne sub-zone is making significant contribution to higher production, especially in achieving food security.

Eng. Musie Bahta explained that the renovation and construction of ponds and water division schemes, as well as other facilities in the sub-zone are enabling the local inhabitants to lead better life. Moreover, reliable animal feed for livestock is being made possible, besides the enrichment of underground water resource.

According to reports that the construction of the Asuge pond, water division schemes in Guchi and Tekowda are some of the agricultural projects making progress in upgrading the living style of the inhabitants.
