Eritrean Mufti holds talks with OIC Secretary General

The Eritrean Mufti, Sheik Al-Amin Osman Al-Amin held talks with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.

Asmara, 20 February 2011 – The Eritrean Mufti, Sheik Al-Amin Osman Al-Amin held talks with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.

In the meeting held on the evening hours of yesterday, discussions were held regarding fostering cooperative relations between the two sides.

Eritrean Mufti, Sheik Al-Amin Osman Al-Amin expressed appreciation for the visit of Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.

The Secretary General on his part reiterated the OIC’s readiness to collaborate with the Office of Eritrean Mufti.
