Students Of Tsorona School Call For A Library And Laboratory

The students of Tserona Junior and Secondary School called for the provision of  library and laboratory facilities in their school.
Tsorona, 23 February 2011 – The students of Tserona Junior and Secondary School called for the provision of  library and laboratory facilities in their school. Pointing out that the upgrading of the school from elementary to the present level was an important step, they said that addressing the shortage of such facilities would help the school to render more efficient services.

The head of finance and administration in the school, Mr. Tekie Gebreselasie, explained that the students used to travel to Senafe, Adi-Keih and Dekemhare to pursue their education before the upgrading of the school, and as a consequence the participation of female students was minimal. However, he said that the situation has much improved today. Mr. Tekie also called on the concerned bodies to facilitate the provision of library and libratory.
Tsorona Junior and Secondary School is catering to 2,000 students from 15 administrative areas of the sub-zone.
