Administrator Calls On Inhabitants To Properly Utilize Extended Social Services

In a meeting he conducted with the inhabitants of Gerset administrative area, the Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Mussa Rab’a, called for the proper utilization of social services and infrastructure facilities provided in different parts of the region.
Barentu, 24 February 2011 – In a meeting he conducted with the inhabitants of Gerset administrative area, the Administrator of Gash-Barka region, Mr. Mussa Rab’a, called for the proper utilization of social services and infrastructure facilities provided in different parts of the region.
He pointed out that a number of development programs have been implemented that meet the public’s basic necessities through Government investment, and urged them to redouble their contribution in the on-going development activities.
The Administrator further indicated that the Gash-Barka region in general and Gerset Administrative area in particular are one of the places in which major development projects are underway. He went on to say that the local inhabitants are the prime beneficiaries of the available facilities, and should make optimal use of these services.
Mr. Mussa explained that the construction of foam houses in Gerset by Homib Construction Company have been nearly finalized and would be distributed among the inhabitants.
The inhabitants of Gerset on their part commended the endeavors to expand social services and stressed the need for distributing electricity supply to their village.
