Close Ties Between Schools And Administrative Bodies Vital In Ensuring Quality Education

During an assessment meeting, the branch office of the Education Ministry in the Northern Red Sea region disclosed the importance of close ties between schools and administrative bodies in promoting the quality of education.

Massawa, 25 February 2011 – During an assessment meeting, the branch office of the Education Ministry in the Northern Red Sea region disclosed the importance of close ties between schools and administrative bodies in promoting the quality of education.

In a meeting in which directors and supervisors from all sub-zones of the region took part, it was stated that the collaboration and supervision of the public, administrators and teachers have added vital impetus to the teaching-learning process.

The head of the branch office, Mr. Yasin Mohammed, said that society’s collaboration is important in encouraging teachers and ensuring quality education. He said that a plan has been mapped out to arrange academic years by giving due consideration to the climatic condition of the area.

The Director General of social services in the region, Mr. Tesfai Tekle, noted that education is given top priority in endeavors to extend social services, and that the report presented by the executive bodies was vital for effectively implementing future programs.
