Students of The Etaro Community Conduct Fourth Festival

Parents in the Etaro community pointed out that constant support and supervision on the part of parents is crucial in strengthening the academic competence of students.

Asmara, 28 February 2011- Parents in the Etaro community pointed out that constant support and supervision on the part of parents is crucial in strengthening the academic competence of students.

The parents made these remarks on the occasion of the 4th Festival of the students in the community.

The chairman of the Etaro community, Col. Woldegebriel Misgun indicated that the primary objective of the community is to nurture competent youth and to carry out activities that benefit the community and the country.

Stating that most of the activities of the festival promote the student-centered curriculum, Col. Woldegebriel said that five students from the community had been awarded the Zagre prize last year.

A number of government officials, including the Minister of Labor and Human Welfare, Ms. Selma Hasen had participated in the festival.
