Inhabitants Of Habero express readiness to step up contribution to the development endeavors

The inhabitants of various areas of Habero sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the endeavors to improve the living standard of the people and reiterated readiness to redouble contribution to facilitate development drive.

Habero, 1 March 2011 – The inhabitants of various areas of Habero sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the endeavors to improve the living standard of the people and reiterated readiness to redouble contribution to facilitate development drive.

In a meeting they conducted with the Administrator of Anseba region in Aretai semi-urban center, the inhabitants pointed out that villages are showing rapid growth as a result of the on-going developmental activities, and inhabitants of scattered villages have regrouped to become beneficiaries of provided social services. They also said that they have obtained potable water supply, health and educational services.

The Administrator of the region, Mr. Giorgis Girmai, called on the local inhabitants to make due contribution in the undertaken development programs.

The participants of the meeting adopted a number of resolutions and recommendations including the implementation of the plan to extend electricity supply and renovation of damaged roads.
