Homib Inhabitants Expressed Satisfaction With The Provision Of Potable Water Supply

The inhabitants of Homib administrative area, Forto-Sawa sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the provision of potable water supply and the improvement it’s has brought in their daily lives.

Forto-Sawa, 3 March 2011 – The inhabitants of Homib administrative area, Forto-Sawa sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the provision of potable water supply and the improvement it’s has brought in their daily lives.

The inhabitants used to travel for 3 hours to find water that was not even up to standard, but now they have been relieved from such problems.

Mr. Musa Kelifa stated that the local inhabitants were previously vulnerable to various diseases as they were fetching water from the Sawa River, nevertheless, their health is now secured following the provision of the water project.

Reports indicated that there exist three water stations in Homib administrative area and a water reservoir with a capacity of holding 160 barrels.
