Italian tourists who toured different parts of the country for two weeks said that in addition to its natural resources, Eritrea’s prevailing peace and stability makes it an exciting tourist attraction.
Asmara, 4 March 2011- Italian tourists who toured different parts of the country for two weeks said that in addition to its natural resources, Eritrea’s prevailing peace and stability makes it an exciting tourist attraction.
First time visitor to the country, Mr. Agustino Oscar said that although he had limited knowledge about Eritrea before his visit, he said that everything he saw in the country was beyond his expectations. “We have been able to move about the country without any difficulty or anxiety,” he added.
Mr. Agustino also expressed his appreciation for the welcoming nature of the Eritrean people. Another visitor, Ms. Lomboni Laura said she admired the family values in the society and indicated that it is the source of the prevailing peace in the country.
Mr. Ponte Francesca on his part explained that he was introduced to Eritrea by an Eritrean colleague and has been staying in her home as per her invitation.
The Italian tourists finally emphasized that Eritrea is indeed a great tourist destination and said that the strong family ties of the society has given them a lasting impression of the country.
