The lecture jointly organized by the Ministry of Land, Water and Environment and the branch office of the Education Ministry in the Southern region focused on environment and challenges, biodiversity, environment resources and pollution and management of dry waste, among others.
The head of environmental administration and regulation at the Ministry of Land, Water and Environment, Ms. Azeb Redazgi, emphasized the critical importance of environment administration and said that human life depends on the resources provided by the environment. Since resources are limited and non-renewable, preservation and proper administration is of paramount importance, she added.
The head of engineering services in the Southern region, Mr. Khaled Saleh on his part called for proper evaluation of the environment where schools are constructed.
