Moga’e Fruits and Vegetable Farmers Strive To Boost Productivity

Fruits and vegetables farmers along the Moga’e River in the Kamchewa sub zone stated that they are exerting utmost efforts to boost their production and stabilize local markets. Kamchewa, 7 March 2011- Fruits and vegetables farmers along the Moga’e River in the Kamchewa sub zone stated that they are exerting utmost efforts to boost their production and stabilize local markets.

The farmers indicated that the products which are being cultivated over 70 hectares of land have stabilized markets in the Afabet sub zone and are also being sent to Keren and Asmara.

The farmers went on to indicate that they have also began to cultivate dates and other products for which they have already harvested encouraging outcomes.
