Students of Asmat Boarding School commend continued support of the Government and the public

Student of Asmat Boarding School, who scored high mark in the 2010 l junior and secondary national exams, lauded the continued support on the part of the Government and the general public. The students pointed out that they are actively pursuing high level education following the favorable circumstances being created to them.

Asmat, 17 March 2011 – Student of Asmat Boarding School, who scored high mark in the 2010 l junior and secondary national exams, lauded the continued support on the part of the Government and the general public. The students pointed out that they are actively pursuing high level education following the favorable circumstances being created to them.

The head of schools in Asmat sub-zone, Mr. Mohamed Saleh, told ERINA that the number of students has increased by 10 % and that about 54 students from the sub-zone are pursuing their studies in higher educational institutions. He further stressed the need to exert more efforts towards ensuring active female participation in education.
