Private investors said that the prevailing favorable investment climate in Eritrea encouraged them to boost production. The manager of T.H Household Utensils Factory, Mr. Yonas Abraha, said that the factory produces about 4,000 utensils and from 100 to 150 different types of dishes on daily basis which have high demanded in the local market.
Asmara, 24 March 2011 – Private investors said that the prevailing favorable investment climate in Eritrea encouraged them to boost production. The manager of T.H Household Utensils Factory, Mr. Yonas Abraha, said that the factory produces about 4,000 utensils and from 100 to 150 different types of dishes on daily basis which have high demanded in the local market.
He further explained that efforts are being stepped up to boost production for export purpose, beyond satisfying local needs. Mr. Yonas pointed out that pictures portraying the country’s cultural practices, identity and customs, as well as historical sites are laminated in the products so as to promote tourism activities.
T.H Household Utensils Factory is a privately-owned firm set up in 2006.
