Soil and Water Conservation Activities In Baqla Boost Forestation

The inhabitants of Baqla administrative area, Nacfa sub zone indicated that their efforts in soil and water conservation activities are bearing fruit in boosting the growth of vegetation.
Baqla, 27 March 2011- The inhabitants of Baqla administrative area, Nacfa sub zone indicated that their efforts in soil and water conservation activities are bearing fruit in boosting the growth of vegetation.

The inhabitants pointed out that their efforts have enabled the growth of new trees and that they are striving hard to conserve and maintain the vegetation.

According to the manager of the administrative area Mr. Mohammednur Mohammed Ali, the inhabitants of the area are protective of the vegetation since it is vital for the livelihood of the people and their livestock. He also called for the collaboration and guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture for further promotion of different types of vegetation.
