Around 300 British Tourists Visit Massawa

299 British tourists who arrived in the country by sea expressed admiration for the hospitality of the people and the beauty of the port city of Massawa.
Massawa, 31 March 2011- 299 British tourists who arrived in the country by sea expressed admiration for the hospitality of the people and the beauty of the port city of Massawa.

The tourists visited historical sites, the regional museum, salt factory and other places and said that they enjoyed everything the port city had to offer.

One of the visitors, Saskia Vrolyk stated that Eritrea only needs to be well-known for it to become an exciting tourist destination.

Another visitor, Mr. John Care said that he saw a number of fascinating things within a short time span in the port city and expressed appreciation for the hospitality of the people.

Mr. Tom Molly Foster on his part said that he was particularly impressed with the history of the Eritrean people’s struggle and added that the country has rich potential for tourism.
