Mereb Construction Company backing up reconstruction endeavors

Mereb Construction Company is striving to reinforce national reconstruction endeavors through introducing modern machineries and upgrading human capacity, stated Col. Haile Mesfin, manager of the Company.

Asmara, 2 April 2011 – Mereb Construction Company is striving to reinforce national reconstruction endeavors through introducing modern machineries and upgrading human capacity, stated Col. Haile Mesfin, manager of the Company.

He told ERINA that the company is employing advanced construction machineries in the implementation of various projects. Different training courses are also being organized with a view to nurturing skilled manpower, he added.

The head of technique department in the company, Mr. Dawit Tadesse, said on his part that various projects worth over 48 million Nakfa were implemented last year, while the remaining ones are in the process of implementation. 

The projects involve the construction of buildings for Dekemhare Children Nutrition Processing Plant, gas stations in Dekemhare and Mendefera, high school in Kuatit and Dekemhare, junior schools in Embeito and Ziban-Angeb, a library and computer center in Mai-Edaga.

Moreover, Col. Haile pointed out that the company is actively engaged in electricity related programs in Adi-Keih, Halhale, Abi-Adi and Mai-Edaga, in addition to carrying out some activities at Bisha gold mining.
