April 4, 2011 – Some 70% of the inhabitants of Anseba region have become beneficiaries of reliable transport service, stated Mr. Mengesha Mehari, head of the transport branch office.
Mr. Mengesha pointed out that about 35 transport lines have already gone operational connecting various villages in the region over the past 20 years. He also indicated that over 250 busses are providing service to the public in addition to the ones offered by the Harat Transport Company.
The branch head explained that buses service is currently in place for the inhabitants of the sub-zones of Hal-hal, Asmat and Sel’a, as well as to Afabet, Nakfa and Imahmimet.
