Construction of modern hotels worth over 200,000 Nakfa making due contribution for development of tourism

The construction of modern hotels worth over 200 million Nakfa in Keren town has made due contribution in providing efficient service to customers, in addition to enhancing the charm of the town, according to Mr. Dawit Kibreab, head of quality control unit in the Tourism Ministry’s branch office in Anseba region. Keren, 9 April 2011 – The construction of modern hotels worth over 200 million Nakfa in Keren town has made due contribution in providing efficient service to customers, in addition to enhancing the charm of the town, according to Mr. Dawit Kibreab, head of quality control unit in the Tourism Ministry’s branch office in Anseba region.
Stating that service-rendering enterprises used to be limited in number and giving inadequate service prior to the achievement of independence, he explained that at present such drawbacks have been overcome. Mr. Dawit added that the existing ancient buildings, monasteries and historical sites in the region are also attracting many tourists. 
Mr. Wolde Baria, owner of Dige Hotel, stressed the importance of building modern hotels in the development of Keren town, and called for  still more endeavors towards further promoting efficient service to customers.
