Alebu Inhabitants express satisfaction with services provided.

The inhabitants of Alebu sub-zone said that thanks to the development endeavors accomplished to-date their living standards have improved.

 

Alebu, April 11 2011- The inhabitants of Alebu sub-zone said that thanks to the development endeavors accomplished to-date their living standards have improved.
Speaking to Erina, the inhabitants stated that the Government’s endeavors to ensure social justice through the provision of the required service-rendering amenities have turned Alebu into an agro-industrial site.
One of the local inhabitants, Ms. Asha Adem, working in the Banatom Factory said over the past 20 years, they have been acquainted with modern technologies.
Capt. Tedros Tesfai, head of technical matters in Gash-Barka region, said that the investment made has enabled the inhabitants to practice modern farming methods.
There exist a number of factories in Alebu that produce banana and tomato products, bottled water and milk products, among others.
