Training in embroidery given to inhabitants of Gizgiza

In an effort to improve the lives of women in Gizgiza, the Ministry of Agriculture provided training in embroidery and needlework that spanned a duration of 6 months in.

Asmara, April 17, 2011- In an effort to improve the lives of women in Gizgiza, the Ministry of Agriculture provided training in embroidery and needlework that spanned a duration of 6 months in.

 

On the occasion, the head of the National Union of Eritrean Women in the sub-zone, Ms. Saida Ali said that it is high time that women stepped up their roles in society and acquired skills.
The trainees on their part noted that they did not have any skills prior to this training, and pledged to pass what they learned to others.
