Training Given To Owners And Employees Of Service-Rendering Enterprises

The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with service-rendering institutions association branch in the Northern Red Sea region, gave training in Massawa to 273 owners and employees of tourism service-rendering enterprises. Massawa, 20 April 2011 – The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with service-rendering institutions association branch in the Northern Red Sea region, gave training in Massawa to 273 owners and employees of tourism service-rendering enterprises.

The training aimed at ensuring efficient and speedy provision of service focuses on business management, hospitality, serving food and drink, neatness and accounting, among others.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Chairman of the Association’s branch in the region, Mr. Abraham Michael, noted that Massawa is a main tourism destination as it is endowed with rich history and relics. In this connection, he said that rendering efficient and speedy service has a vital role to play in promoting tourism activities.

The participants of the training stressed the significance of such training in providing better service.
