Patriarch leaves for Jerusalem heading pilgrims

Eritrean pilgrims used to travel to Jerusalem on their own. This year, however, a total of 200 members of the faithful headed by His Holiness the EOC Patriarch are visiting Jerusalem in a group. The pilgrims will also be joined by Eritrean nationals from Europe and the USA, according to the Office of the EOC Patriarchate.

The pilgrims headed by His Holiness Abune Dioskoros were accorded warm welcome on arrival in Jerusalem by the Eritrean Embassy staff and the Eritrean Community in Israel.
