Preparations are in full swing in the Southern Red Sea region to colorfully celebrate the 20th anniversary of Independence Day
Assab, 19 April 2011 – Preparations are in full swing in the Southern Red Sea region to colorfully celebrate the 20th anniversary of Independence Day under the banner theme “Perfect Harmony… For National Dignity”, according to a member of the holidays coordinating committee, Mr. Berhane Eyasu.

He told ERINA that different committees have been set up to enthusiastically celebrate the event. Mr. Berhane further indicated that sports competitions in connection with the event would be held on top of exhibitions and carnival on the part of various institutions, as well as traditional lifestyle of the inhabitants.
