Residents of Tio express gratitude at social services introduced

Social services rendered over the past 20 years in Tio town in particular and Araeta sub-zone in general have improved the living standard of nationals in the area

Tio April 25, 2011- Social services rendered over the past 20 years in Tio town in particular and Araeta sub-zone in general have improved the living standard of nationals in the area.The residents, speaking to Erina confirmed that services in health, education, electric supply, mobile phones, transportation as well as boat garages that were non-existent in the past are now available.

In an interview the residents conducted they pointed out that access to social services has been increased and that the boarding school built in their locality has enabled their children to continue their school in their area.

The Administrator of Tio, Mr. Ali Mohammed, on his part stated that presently there are schools ranging from kindergarten to high schools and that a community hospital has been constructed in the area.
