The administrative areas of Igroli and Ayemen in Araeta sub-zone, Southern Red Sea region, have showed commendable urbanization as a result of the expansion of social services over the past 20 years since independence.
Araeta, 30 April 2011 – The administrative areas of Igroli and Ayemen in Araeta sub-zone, Southern Red Sea region, have showed commendable urbanization as a result of the expansion of social services over the past 20 years since independence.
The Administrator of Igroli, Mr. Ali Ardaitu, explained that prior to independence, there existed no meaningful social services in the area, but at present various social services like education, health and potable water supply are available.
The local inhabitants recalled the difficulties they used to encounter in order to get such services and stressed the significance of the newly introduced social services in improving their standard of living.
