Farmers Union of Mai-Mine redoubling efforts to boost production

The Farmers Union of Mai-Mine said that its members are striving to increase production that meets the demands of their local markets.

Mendefera, May 2, 2011- The Farmers Union of Mai-Mine said that its members are striving to increase production that meets the demands of their local markets.
Speaking to Erina, the farmers indicated that the membership of the Union has increased to 140 and that they are making significant contribution towards the stabilization of local markets.
The farmers further stated that harvests has been good this year and that they are supplying fruits and vegetables to the local market thanks to the support they were provided by the Administration of the sub-zone as well as the Ministry of Agriculture.
