Symposium of Justice Ministry Opens

The symposium of the Ministry of Justice opened in Keren today. In an opening speech, the Minister of Justice, Ms. Fawzia Hashim, outlined the efforts made for ensuring social justice along with national development programs since independence have been found effective. Keren, May 2, 2011- The symposium of the Ministry of Justice opened in Keren today. In an opening speech, the Minister of Justice, Ms. Fawzia Hashim, outlined the efforts made for ensuring social justice along with national development programs since independence have been found effective.
Noting that the Eritrean people have always been law-respecting , Ms. Fawzia pointed out that the Ministry vision focuses on reinforcing  such culture, and that significant performance has been registered so far. She also outlined the endeavors underway to restructure the existing criminal, civil and commercial laws in the country on the basis of the nations cherished values and norms.
Moreover, the Minister explained that every 5 years the Ministry of Justice resorts to introducing work methodology aimed at facilitating in which community magistrates play active role.
A documentary film highlighting the work accomplishments of the ministry over the past 20 years was also screened.
