Foro, 4 May 2011 – The inhabitants of Foro semi-urban center commended the implementation of development programs in the semi-urban center over the past 20 years since independence.
The inhabitants explained that they have registered noticeable improvement in their lifestyle thanks to the expansion of various social services in their locality, including potable water supply, health, education, transport and others.
The inhabitants further stated that the construction of the asphalted Massawa-Foro road is playing significant role in facilitating their daily activities. Noting the vital role of the newly opened health centers in reducing mother and child mortality rate, they said that the installation of electricity service is facilitating the urbanization of the area.
Moreover, the local inhabitants expressed conviction that the construction of the Kohaito-Foro road would make significant contribution in expanding trade activities.
