Inhabitants of Hamerti Express Satisfaction with Provision of Social Services

The inhabitants of Hamerti administrative area, Araeta sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the putting in place of potable water supply, elementary and junior school, as well as health center.

Araeta, 4 May 2011 – The inhabitants of Hamerti administrative area, Araeta sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the putting in place of potable water supply, elementary and junior school, as well as health center.

The Administrator of the area, Mr. Ali Igahlie, told ERINA that prior to independence, the local inhabitants used to face acute shortage of potable water. At present, however, they have become beneficiaries of such service in their respective areas, in addition to educational opportunities.

The inhabitant also recalled that the area was deprived of any social service prior to independence and expressed satisfaction for getting access to basic social services.
