The Azel Pharmaceuticals Plant is importing new equipment and machineries aimed at boosting the production of medicaments, according to the head of Productions, Mr. Lemma Tsegay.
Keren, May 5, 2011- The Azel Pharmaceuticals Plant is importing new equipment and machineries aimed at boosting the production of medicaments, according to the head of Productions, Mr. Lemma Tsegay.
Speaking to Erina, Mr. Lemma noted that presently the plant is producing 53 types of medicaments and that the production units have increased to a total of 102 million units. He further added that pilot studies have been finalized and that the plant expects to export its products in the near future.
On his part, the head of Administration, Mr. Mokonnen Melke pointed out that efforts to develop human resources in pharmacy studies have been underway and that fruitful outcomes have been registered.
Over 200 employees work at Azel Pharmaceutical Plant in Keren.
