Preparations finalized for staging carnival in Keren

Preparations for staging carnival in Keren town so as to colorfully celebrate the 20th anniversary of Independence Day has been finalized, according to Mr. Ande Adhanom, coordinator of carnival programs in Anseba region.  Keren, 12 May 2011 –Preparations for staging carnival in Keren town so as to colorfully celebrate the 20th anniversary of Independence Day has been finalized, according to Mr. Ande Adhanom, coordinator of carnival programs in Anseba region.

He told ERINA that all administrative areas, ministries’ branch offices, factories, religious institutions and organizations would participate in which film and artistic shows would be presented.
Mr. Ande further explained that the Ministry of Agriculture in particular has made the necessary preparations to highlight the socio-economic and cultural features of the region in the carnival scheduled to be conducted at the national level.
