The inhabitants of Erafale administrative area, Northern Red Sea region, said that they are leading better lifestyle thanks to the expansion of various social services.
Erafale, 13 May 2011 – The inhabitants of Erafale administrative area, Northern Red Sea region, said that they are leading better lifestyle thanks to the expansion of various social services.
They explained that they have become beneficiaries of education, health, potable water supply and other services. The local inhabitants noted that they are doing their level best in backing up the development drive.
They further recalled that there existed no social services in the area in the days of colonial rule, and that the available services at present are making significant contribution in improving their living standard.
The Administrator of the area, Mr. Saleh Ibrahim, pointed out that solar energy-generated wells for both human and cattle, two schools for elementary and junior level, as well as a health station have been constructed in the locality. Besides, 2 water tankers with a capacity of holding 500 cubic meters of water each and a modern ice producing plant have been set up so as to boost fish production, he added.
Erafale, one of the administrative areas in Foro sub-zone, is located 75 kilometers from Massawa.
