Eritreans in Zambia and Toronto highly appraise development accomplishments in the Homeland

In a seminar they conducted, Eritrean citizens residing in Zambia and the Canadian city of Toronto highly appraised the implementation of all-round development programs in the Homeland towards promoting social justice and economic emancipation. Asmara, 14 May 2011 – In a seminar they conducted, Eritrean citizens residing in Zambia and the Canadian city of Toronto highly appraised the implementation of all-round development programs in the Homeland towards promoting social justice and economic emancipation. 

The Eritrean nationals in Zambia stated that the holding of symposiums of ministries and administrative regions have enabled them to get familiarized with the effectiveness of the tasks accomplished to expand social services in all parts of the country, especially remote areas which used to be marginalized.  In this respect, the nationals pledged to fulfill what is expected of  them.

The Eritrean Ambassador to South Africa and the southern African region, Mr. Saleh Omar, gave briefings on the objective situation in the nation and the tasks accomplished in the political, diplomatic, economic and infrastructure domains.

Likewise, the head of public and community affairs in Canada, Mr. Semere Gebremariam, outlined the endeavors made to achieve food security and programs envisaged for implementation in the domains of agriculture, marine resources, trade and industry, mining and tourism, as well as improving the people’s living standard.
