Asmara, 20 May 2011 – Children are happily following up the programs being featured in the Independence Day celebrations, according to reports.
The children expressed admiration to the staging of carnivals in their respective schools, as well as the decoration of the downtown with neon lights. They particularly expressed delight with the face mask and other entertainment programs.
Moreover, the children further noted that they are fully acquainted with the bitter struggle waged for the achievement of independence thanks to their teachers. In this connection, they said that they are highly impressed with, the big pictures displayed along the streets depicting the culture, history, harmony and mutual co-existence of the Eritrean people.
