Administrative areas and institutions in Central region stage carnival

In continuation of the carnival of the regions staged in the streets of Asmara yesterday, carnival of administrative areas and institutions in the Central region was   also conducted in the afternoon hours today. Asmara, 21 May 2011 – In continuation of the carnival of the regions staged in the streets of Asmara yesterday, carnival of administrative areas and institutions in the Central region was   also conducted in the afternoon hours today.

The Secretary of the PFDJ, Mr. Al-Amin Mohammed Seid, opened the carnival  in which about 27 institutions and 7 administrative areas participated displaying their products.

The carnival accompanied by marching band highlights the accomplishments registered over the past 20 years, the culture and values of the Eritrean society, as well as the products of institutions. Thousands of people observed the carnival along the  Liberation and Martyrs avenues.

A total of 29 institutions and 6 administrative areas from the same region would also participate in the carnival that would be staged tomorrow, according to the preparatory committee.
