The 20th anniversary of Independence Day is being celebrated in Tessenei town with patriotic zeal. The residents stated that the programs featured in the celebrations reflect the unity, harmony and mutual co-existence of the Eritrean nationalities. Tessenei, 21 May 2011 – The 20th anniversary of Independence Day is being celebrated in Tessenei town with patriotic zeal. The residents stated that the programs featured in the celebrations reflect the unity, harmony and mutual co-existence of the Eritrean nationalities.
They further stated that the decoration of the town with neon lights and the musical performance being staged are giving added color to the celebrations. All the administrative areas are also prepared to conduct the celebration programs in their respective localities.
Meanwhile, a number of Eritrean and Sudanese nationals are flocking to the country through Arabaeteasher road to participate in the 20th anniversary celebrations of Independence Day. The arriving persons expressed delight for coming to participate in the celebrations.
The arriving Sudanese nationals expressed deep impression with the existing unity and harmony of the Eritrean people. Reports indicated that about 50 people arrived in group via the road, while many more arrived earlier.
