They told ERINA that the celebrations highlight the hardship traversed in the days of the armed struggle and the enemy atrocities committed, as well as the impressive development achievements registered.
The residents further explained that every national is making financial and labor contributions so as to colorfully celebrate the event in a community tent. Reports indicated that administrative areas in the town are carrying out various programs in a community tent that portray the traditional lifestyle of the people, the struggle and integrated rebuff of Eritreans.
Likewise, the inhabitants of Hagaz are celebrating Independence Day in a colorful manner. Accordingly, similar celebration programs are being featured in the administrative areas of Badob, Hashishai, Shengien and Golya.
