Inhabitants of Selaa sub-zone Celebrate the Independence Anniversary with Patriotic Zeal

The inhabitants of Selaa sub-zone celebrated the 20th Independence anniversary by setting up community tents today in patriotic zeal.  The celebration programs, accompanied by active participation of the people continued in vibrant sprit throughout the day

Keren, 22 May 2011 – The inhabitants of Selaa sub-zone, celebrated the 20th Independence anniversary by setting up community tents today in patriotic zeal.  The celebration programs, accompanied by active participation of the people continued in vibrant sprit throughout the day.

Underscoring that they held extensive preparations to celebrate the day, the inhabitabts said that the essence of the celebration goes on beyond the merriment and it is a time in which we renew our pledge to live up to the Martyrs trust.

The Administrator of Selaa sub-zone, Mr. Meharena Tecleab said that the development achievements registered in post-independence period are indicative of a bright future ahead.

Selaa is located 140 Km. North of Keren.
