More Donations To Augment The Martyrs Trust Fund

Eritrean citizens inside the country and abroad donated over 294,000 Nakfa and over 6,000 Euro towards augmenting the Martyrs Trust Fund. Asmara, 27 May 2011 – Eritrean citizens inside the country and abroad donated over 294,000 Nakfa and over 6,000 Euro towards augmenting the Martyrs Trust Fund.

Accordingly, the NUEW branch in Germany, members of the PFDJ and NUEW in Belfield, Eritrean women in Heidelberg and Eritrean community in Reutlingen contributed a total of 6,000 Euro. 

Moreover, Eritrean mother returnees of Italy donated 200,000 Nakfa, Ms. Marta Hagos who resides in San Diego contributed 20,000 Nakfa out of the money intended for funeral service of her late father, Mr. Amanuel Redie and Ms. Zewdi Tsegai who live in Stuttgart 20,000 Nakfa, the inhabitants of Sherit, Sel’a sub-zone, contributed 4,000 Nakfa, employees of the Eritrean Cement Factory 42,960 Nakfa and Mr. Woldemichael Semere and his family contributed   7,100 Nakfa for the same cause.

Meanwhile, in connection with the 20th anniversary of Independence Day, Eritrean nationals residing in Rotterdam and its environs, Holland, donated financial and material assistance worth over 91,000 Nakfa to war-disabled  nationals at the Denden Camp.

The administration of Denden Camp lauded the nationals for the assistance and called on other fellow citizens to emulate the sacred initiative.
