Hagaz, May 29, 2011 – The Hagaz Agricultural Technical School is playing vital role in endeavors to develop capable and committed human capital of the nation, according to Brother Woldetinsae Tesfasilasie, managing director of the school.
He explained that the school provides consultancy and training services to members of the farming communities in the areas and that it trains its students coupling theoretical and practical studies.
Ever since its establishment, the Hagaz Agricultural Technical School, has graduated over 3000 students in 4 fields of study, including Agro-Mechanics, Animal Science, Plant Science and Soil and Water Conservation.
The director further went on to indicate that most of the graduates are working in their respective fields and that over 50% of them join the Hamelmalo Agricultural College for further studies.
