The inhabitants of Molqi sub-zone are leading improved standard of living as a result of the putting in place of infrastructure facilities and service-rendering institutions, according to Mr. Kidane Woldeslasie, Administrator of the sub-zone. Molqi, 30 May 2011 – The inhabitants of Molqi sub-zone are leading improved standard of living as a result of the putting in place of infrastructure facilities and service-rendering institutions, according to Mr. Kidane Woldeslasie, Administrator of the sub-zone.
He explained that there are a total of 19 potable water supply facilities in the sub-zone, in addition to 9 water reservoirs that are making significant contribution in providing clean water to the inhabitants along with their livestock.
Mr. Kidane further pointed out that a secondary school, 3 junior and 7 elementary schools, as well as 3 mobile schools and 4 kindergartens are available. As a result, student participation in education has increased manifold, he added.
